Our 3rd graders had an amazing time on their field trip to FitCity in Spanish Fork! The students loved swimming and had a blast trying out the brand new equipment at the pool. Thank you to everyone at FitCity for helping make this a memorable and fun experience!
We were honored to welcome Utah House Representative Whyte to our 5th grade today as a guest speaker for our wellbeing lesson on Citizenship! Our students loved brainstorming creative ideas for new bills that could benefit our community. Thank you, Rep. Whyte, for inspiring our young leaders to make a positive difference!
So proud of our DLI 2nd graders at Sage Creek Elementary! They’ve been learning all about immigration and took on the challenge of interviewing a family member who moved from another country or state. Their presentations were thoughtful, well-prepared, and absolutely adorable! Way to go, 2nd graders—you inspire us all!

What an exciting day for our Sage Creek kindergarteners! Today’s field trip to Rock Canyon was a hands-on adventure exploring sedimentary and metamorphic rocks. Our young scientists learned how rocks change over time and saw erosion in action. So proud of their curiosity and wonder!

Ms. Harris, our dedicated school counselor, was honored with the K-16 Mountain Alliance Individual Counselor of the Year Award! Her caring support uplifts our entire school community!
Ms. Howard, our inspiring art specialist, received the 2026 Arts-In-Education Outstanding Educator of the Year Award from A.R.T.S Inc. and was celebrated at a special dinner for her creativity and passion!
Ms. Zitzman earned her Specialist in Education (EdS) in School Psychology from BYU, and Ms. Mousser achieved her second MEd in School Leadership from BYU as well. We are so grateful for their dedication to professional growth!
Ms. Frisby graduated from UVU with a MED Endorsement Plus, and Ms. Harper completed her MEd in Advancement in Teaching & Learning—both bringing even more expertise to our second grade students!

Mrs. Gappmayer’s 2nd graders have been busy budding scientists! They explored the properties of matter by testing different materials to discover which would make the best sun hat to protect from sunburns. What an amazing hands-on way to learn and stay safe in the sun!

Our ABC Countdown keeps getting better! H was for Hat Day—students showed off their favorite hats in every color and style. I was for Ice Cream, and everyone enjoyed a sweet, chilly treat. J was for Jersey Day—students wore shirts from their favorite teams. And K was for Karaoke, where our Kindergarteners became superstars, singing their favorite songs for their friends! We’re loving every day of our ABC Countdown adventure at Sage Creek!

Teacher Appreciation Week at Sage Creek was AMAZING! Our awesome PTA made every day special with lunches and thoughtful gifts— from keychains and mini vases of flowers (reminding us how awesome we are!) to delicious drinks, and a Cubby’s lunch that was a huge hit on Thursday. Our amazing Ms. Youd, Ms. Betts, and Ms. Bennett also went above and beyond with daily treats like a drink cart, cozy blankets, and heartfelt notes from families. We’re still amazed at how much love and care went into every detail of this great week! Thank you, Sage Creek community, for making us feel so appreciated!
