✈️ Glam travels! Ms. Nordstrom has been on the move this summer! She spent a couple weeks camping and sightseeing around beautiful British Columbia. 🏕️ As if that wasn't enough, she also attended a World Cup game in Vancouver! ⚽ What an incredible trip!

🛣️ Road trip detour! Sometimes you end up in unexpected places... like Anaconda, Montana—home of Anaconda Smoke Stack State Park! Mrs. Bennett brought some serious glam to this small town, posing with local metal art and the famous smoke stack. *Fun Fact* the Washington Monument would fit inside this landmark smokestack!. 🏗️✨

🏄‍♀️ Surf's up! Mrs. Youd glams it up on a surfboard this summer! Lake Powell is definitely the place to be for fun in the sun. 🌞 Loving that vibe!

Big shoutout to Mrs. Howard for participating in the North American Breeding Bird Survey! 🐦 This citizen science study has been running for 60 years across 4,000+ routes. Mrs. Howard spent her morning counting birds at half-mile points—3 minutes of observation at each stop. The glam glasses even made an appearance! 😎

Mrs. Hartung brought the glam to Lake Powell! 🌊 From surfing and tubing to wave-runners and family games, they made memories to last. What a way to spend the summer!

Pickleball + glam glasses = the perfect summer combo! 🏓🕶️ Our reading technicians are enjoying the beautiful weather, staying active, and looking fabulous while they play. We love seeing our team shine!

🏔️ Adventure Alert! Mrs. Betts and her daughter Marisa took on Mount Timpanogos last week—and made it all the way to the snowline! ❄️ Yes, there’s still snow up there! They’re planning another summit attempt later this summer. Hydration over glam was the rule of the day, so we took the liberty of glamming them up. 😉

Just because it's summer break doesn't mean our teachers stop learning! 🎨 Mrs. Howard, Mrs. Wilson, and Mrs. Yu all participated in the Arts Express conference, focusing on arts integration. We can't wait to see how they bring these new ideas to the classroom! ✨

Congratulations to Ms. Wilkinson for winning the “King of Show” award at the Utah Rose Society Competition with her stunning Moonstone Rose! Her talent as a gifted rose gardener truly shines—and so do her fabulous summer Glam Glasses! Congratulations!

Not all adventures require a passport! Ms. Youd, Ms. Sumsion, Ms. Mousser, Ms. Bennett, Ms. Betts, and Ms. Sumsion all attended a CPR and First Aid class to make sure our school community stays safe and cared for next year. (And yes, the glam glasses made an appearance there, too!)

Ms. Clark traveled all the way to China with a group of Springville students (including her daughters)! Her photos show her sitting on the stairs of the Great Wall of China and posing with pandas in the background—all while rocking those glam glasses!

Mrs. Mousser kicked off her adventures early with a trip to India, working with schools in Bangalore! If you look closely at the photo, you’ll spot Mrs. Mousser in a Tuk Tuk!

School’s out and the adventures are just beginning! In past summers, Sage Creek faculty and staff shared their journeys in “School is Out for Summer” shirts or took Flat Sage (our beloved mascot) along for the ride. This year, we’re adding a sparkly twist—our glam glasses will be traveling everywhere we go!

Perfect Attendance: Congratulations to our two students who achieved perfect attendance—not a single tardy or check-out all year!

America 250 Challenge: Twenty-one students took on the America 250 challenge, submitting their own performances of the "Star-Spangled Banner." Each participant was recognized with a certificate and their very own flag. We are so proud of your creativity and patriotism!

Proud Youd Club: A big shout-out to the ten students who completed the "Proud Youd Club" requirements after a year of hard work and commitment!

We are so proud of all our students for their achievements and positive spirit. Have a wonderful summer, Sage Creek families!

Our faculty and staff channeled their inner disco for a far-out 70’s dress-up day for the dance festival and end of year luncheon. ✌

🎉 What an incredible way to wrap up the school year! Today, our Sage Creek Elementary students enjoyed the much-loved "BYU Traditionz" assembly—a favorite end-of-year tradition that always brings smiles, energy, and excitement.

A huge THANK YOU to the talented BYU dancers for sharing their amazing talents and putting on another unforgettable assembly! Our students look forward to this every year, and you never disappoint.

After five wonderful years at Sage Creek, we say goodbye to a true ray of sunshine. Mrs. Mansfield’s love for reading, her passion for sharing, and her genuine care for every student have made our school a brighter place.

As she retires, she looks forward to spending more precious time with her three darling grandchildren—who are so lucky to have her! Thank you, Mrs. Mansfield, for your kindness, dedication, and the joy you brought to our Sage Creek family. You will be deeply missed, but remember: once a Dragon, always a Dragon. 💛
