Teacher Appreciation Week at Sage Creek was AMAZING! Our awesome PTA made every day special with lunches and thoughtful giftsā from keychains and mini vases of flowers (reminding us how awesome we are!) to delicious drinks, and a Cubbyās lunch that was a huge hit on Thursday. Our amazing Ms. Youd, Ms. Betts, and Ms. Bennett also went above and beyond with daily treats like a drink cart, cozy blankets, and heartfelt notes from families. Weāre still amazed at how much love and care went into every detail of this great week! Thank you, Sage Creek community, for making us feel so appreciated!
F is for Free Time! Today, our kinders enjoyed extra minutes to choose their favorite activitiesābuilding, games, legos and more. Itās wonderful seeing their creativity and friendships grow during this special time.

Congratulations to all the amazing 4th and 5th graders who participated in the 2nd Annual Springville/Mapleton Math Competition at Hobble Creek Elementary! Students competed in three challenging categories: individual, team, and head-to-head. Special shoutout to Rhett Pratt for winning the overall individual competition! Weāre incredibly proud that the top three teams overall were from Sage Creek Elementary, and 9 out of the top 12 students represented our school! In the head-to-head showdown, Tanner Straw took 1st place, with Spencer Osborn in 2nd and Andy Cory in 3rd. Way to go, Sage Creek! Thank you to all participants, teachers (a special thanks to our Mathlete teacher, Mr. Pratt), and families for supporting our studentsā love for math and problem-solving.

The celebration continues! For C, our Creative Day, students took to the playground and transformed the sidewalk into a colorful masterpiece with chalk art. Our kindergarteners have kicked off their ABC Countdown to the last day of school! We started with A for Animal Day (so many fun stuffed animals!) and B for Bubbles (the playground was full of giggles and floating bubbles). We can't wait to see what each new day brings as we celebrate the final weeks together!

Despite a little hail, our 2nd graders had an amazing day at Harward Farms! They expanded their knowledge on insects, the water cycle, and health & bodies while having the opportunity to see and touch adorable baby animals. Learning how food is made and sampling delicious snacks added to the fun! A big thank you to Harward Farms for an unforgettable experience!
Ahoy, Sage Creek! Our 5th-grade pirates have taken the stage by storm in their play, There is No I In Pirate! Directed by the talented Megan Rigdon, Angie Stevens, Paige Wilson, and Lucy Broughten, and penned by Wayne Taylor, this swashbuckling adventure had two crews joining forces to uncover hidden treasure. With lively music by Tanner and Kyle Taylor, the performances were spectacular!

Spring has officially sprung at Sage Creek Elementary! Our kindergarten classes have been buzzing with excitement as they watched their caterpillars transform into beautiful butterflies and set them free! Meanwhile, in Ms. Palfreyman's computer class, the students have been eagerly awaiting the hatching of our quail eggs. We're thrilled to announce that āGiraffeā was the first to make his debut!
