Jinyue (Amber) Li is our new 1st grade Chinese teacher. Born and raised in China, she completed her first Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics in Beijing before moving to Utah, where she earned a second Master’s degree in Second Language Teaching from Brigham Young University. In addition to her academic training, she holds a Utah Professional Educator License with Chinese and Dual Language Immersion (DLI) endorsements. Jinyue has taught Mandarin to children in both Utah and the United Kingdom, and she firmly believes the early years are the most magical time to pick up a new language. She is so excited to meet her 1st graders and kick off this bilingual adventure together! We are so excited to have her at Sage Creek Elementary!
